An Australian digital wagering tech firm, BetMakers, has secured vital resources from Racelab Global, a supplier of racing betting solutions and software. The transaction, assessed at AUD $1.5 million, encompasses Racelab’s ProForm and Odds Engine systems.

ProForm, which furnishes enriched data and racing insights, will enhance BetMakers’ current offerings such as race-day management, data analysis, and live streaming services. The Odds Engine will reinforce BetMakers’ pricing and trading instruments, resulting in more precise betting exchanges.

This calculated acquisition is projected to not only elevate BetMakers’ technology and computational models but also present prospects to broaden their services within the equine and canine racing domains. The obtained technology is also foreseen to advantage BetMakers’ ongoing collaboration with SIS, enabling them to further cultivate their own product and service suite.

BetMakers Chief Executive Jake Henson conveyed his zeal for the acquisition, affirming that the technology substantially amplifies the potential of BetMakers’ racing network, benefiting both betting providers and racing organizations worldwide.

Theres a palpable buzz surrounding this purchase and its implications for our financial performance – we strongly believe it will significantly elevate both income and earnings, commencing in the subsequent financial year.”

Anthony Perrin, who held the position of Chief Financial Officer at BetMakers for over half a decade, vacated his role in the latter part of March. Subsequently, the firm has unveiled a fresh collaboration with GiG, aiming to furnish sports wagering capabilities to their platform.
