BetUK Teams Up with “The Beast” Adebayo Akinfenwa for Cheltenham Festival Campaign

With the Cheltenham Festival drawing near, gaming platform BetUK has revealed a collaboration with recently retired soccer star Adebayo Akinfenwa, who will become their latest brand representative.

Nicknamed “The Beast” for his power, Akinfenwa’s addition aligns with BetUK’s most extensive promotional effort ever for Cheltenham. The firm is presenting a bountiful deal for new and current users during the festival, with a special emphasis on the “Bet £20, Receive £60” promotion.

Akinfenwa, whose last team was Wycombe Wanderers and was famously called “the strongest footballer globally”, will be a prominent figure in BetUK’s advertising push across print, television, online, and social media channels.

The Cheltenham Festival, a crown jewel of the British horse racing season, occurs this year from March 14th to 17th.

Akinfenwa enters a prestigious group of BetUK ambassadors, including top jockey Peter Scudamore and former England footballer Teddy Sheringham.

Matt Bramley, UK Marketing Director at BetUK, conveyed his enthusiasm about the partnership, noting that Akinfenwa’s outsized persona is the ideal match for their most ambitious Cheltenham campaign to date.

Akinfenwa shared the feeling, voicing his excitement for the joint effort and the anticipation surrounding the upcoming festival.

Ahead of the competition’s commencement, BetUK will debut its “Scu Selects” audio program, presented by Chris Kamara, who will offer his seasoned perspectives and approaches for enthusiastic participants.
