888 Holdings has designated Anna Barsby as their inaugural Chief Product and Technology Officer. This freshly minted role emerges from the significant union of 888 and William Hill this past July. Anna’s objective? To guarantee the smooth blending of technology between these two gaming titans.

It’s a pivotal position, as 888 is relying on this amalgamation to not only elevate their client journey but also to realize substantial synergy-fueled expansion.

And Anna appears poised for the task. 888’s announcement emphasizes her remarkable history in digital evolution and unification. She’s spearheaded significant endeavors at prominent companies like Morrisons and Halfords – notably, as CIO of Halfords, she guided them through a highly prosperous digital transformation that witnessed them capturing market dominance and seamlessly incorporating new offerings and labels.

Beyond her latest appointment, Anna remains engaged as a non-executive director for the Cumberland Building Society and as the originator and managing partner of Tessiant, a management advisory firm.

888’s CEO, Itai Pazner, is evidently delighted to welcome her, affirming that she’ll be indispensable in propelling the technological fusion that lies at the core of their merger with William Hill.

Her extensive understanding and expertise will be indispensable as we tap into the possibilities of these two highly synergistic enterprises, and we are thrilled to welcome her.”

The gaming and wagering corporation, 888, experienced a 7% annual decrease in earnings in the third quarter of 2022, bringing in £449 million ($509.4 million).
