A prominent online casino review platform, AskGamblers, has increased its efforts to combat the COVID-19 crisis by contributing a substantial €50,000 (roughly $54,300 USD) to UNICEF.

The financial resources were accumulated through their AskGamblers Charity Night function organized in Belgrade this past January. This prosperous gathering generated a sum of €66,900, with a considerable portion now allocated to assist those impacted by the worldwide health emergency.

AskGamblers conveyed their appreciation to the casino collaborators who took part in the charitable occasion and stressed their desire that this contribution will bolster the global struggle against COVID-19.

Nikola Teofilovic, AskGamblers’ Vice President, stated, “We universally acknowledge that the battle against COVID-19 is an endurance race, not a quick dash, and we experience a sense of obligation to contribute our share in safeguarding the most susceptible individuals among us who are confronting this perilous illness.”

He continued, “Our €50,000 pledge will assist in furnishing local medical facilities with urgently required provisions to support them in preserving lives throughout the fight against COVID-19.”

This display of benevolence from AskGamblers represents just one illustration of the gaming sector’s backing during the pandemic. Previously this month, constituents of the Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) in the UK also exhibited their dedication by donating an impressive £2.6 million (approximately $3.2 million USD) to NHS Charities Together. The funds were gathered through a virtual Grand National tournament.
