Catena Media CEO Steps Down, Interim Leader Appointed

Di Camila "Crimson" Phelps

The Chief Executive Officer of Catena Media, Robert Andersson, has resigned from his position, with immediate effect. Andersson, who spearheaded the affiliate marketing powerhouse for thirty months, is departing to explore new ventures.

His compensation includes six months of his current salary, in addition to a severance agreement. Assuming the position on an interim basis is Henrik Persson Ekdahl, a sitting board member at Catena.

Ekdahl, a seasoned professional in the field with prior Chief Executive Officer roles at organizations such as Betsafe and the Betsson Group, will be charged with steering Catena Media towards sustained financial expansion and prospective mergers and acquisitions.

“Robert effectively navigated the company through its initial public offering and subsequent listing on Nasdaq Stockholm,” remarked Kathryn Moore Baker, Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Catena Media. “A fresh chapter is now commencing, ushering in a new epoch for Catena Media’s future triumphs. We are delighted that Henrik Persson Ekdahl will assume the mantle of acting CEO. This establishes the course for our aspirations moving forward. We will persist in executing our robust growth strategy and, in a timely manner, identify a permanent CEO.”
